  • school graduation 1988, first trip to Africa (Kenya)
  • drum lessons with Emmanuel Gomado (Ghana, Ewe)
  • drum lessons with Alseny Camara (Guinea, Susu)
  • starting teaching activity in a small group
  • second trip to Africa (Ghana, Togo, Benin)
  • drum lessons with Aja Addy, Mustapha Tettey Addy (both Ghana, Ga) and Lartey Larko (Ghana, Ewe)
  • member of various samba groups in Bielefeld, Osnabrück, Münster
  • 'Raízes do Brasil', a 3-year apprenticeship with the brazilian percussionist Dudu Tucci
  • studies of the brazilian candomblé cult: rhythms (with Dudu Tucci) and dances (with Murah Soares)
  • drum lessons in cuban/caribbean rhythms (main instrument: congas/tumbadoras)
  • 4 years of studies at the Artez Conservatorium (Enschede/NL) - main subject 'Percussion in Popular Music' with Nippy Noya
  • diploma in 2003 as a 'lecturing musician' (with educational/didactic, as well as artistic/musical focus)
  • drumset lessons with various drummers and auto-didactic
  • founding the percussion school/brand 'drums-n-dreams', intensive teaching activity since 1995
  • founding the percussion school/brand 'come and drum' in 2003
  • up to now: numerous bands and musical projects with musicians from Africa, Brazil, Cuba etc.
  • currently I´m working with drums in private lessons, at 2 schools for children with special needs,                                                                            4 elementary schools, 2 municipal music schools and a social facility for adults with drug-related problems
